Aww just a little accident but it's great because Steve stays focused on the song, that's very awesome. This is one of the coolest concerts done by Garbage. This was around 1995 I'm guessing so I would've been 5 at the time. Man, I'd give anything to time travel back to the 90s to attend these Garbage concerts.
This must've been in the basement @ the Middle East... I've only been there once or twice but I remember it being a fairly cramped stage once all the gear's in place. From what I know of Garbage, Shirley's a top entertainer and makes full use of all stage space she can to push the performance as hard as she can, so it's not surprising to see little accidents like that happen. That's still a hell of a save by Steve, it could've been much much worse. Falling into the drums would be.. ummm bad.

She does move around alot, she restlessly walks around in circles, etc.
This was the beginning of their very first tour, maybe Steve wasn't as cautious at that point.
