  • According to the Dixon website their flutes are conical bore.

  • hey friend what model is your flute?

    Thanks in advance

  • is this the tony dixon low D in 2 piece? it's hard to tell from the video.

  • what's the difference between tonydixon's tuneable and non-tuneable flute?

  • Tunable has a head that is adjustable, while the non tunable is a solid pipe. Because they are both cylindrical however you'll never have them in perfect tune, you need to get the conical bore for that.

  • Okay - I have the same flute but I have to learn how to play it so I'm watching you ! Thanks for your great video !

  • wow, that's very nice... I really enjoy the music

  • high i was wondering if that is a Dixon Low Flute?

  • yes (more or less). The higher 'flutes' are properly fifes or piccolos (as you prefer). But this is by the looks of it a Dixon tuneable polymer flute in D.

  • Good job sounds awesome!!!

  • excellent tune, nice playing...Chieftain's 4 also amazing
