Korn have really changed into a band that's doing a job, instead of the old band who were rougher around the edges but more passionate onstage. I was disappointed with the first minute of this video, but then became impressed with Jons vocals. They're near studio level and he really got into the vibe towards the end. His voice is still top notch, even if Korn records have slipped a little.

They had death metal influence on their first demo (Mate Feed Kill Repeat), Iowa is just as much nu metal as S/T, heaviness doesn't come into it, my band is nu metal and we're just as heavy, Vol 3 comes close to metalcore thrash MANY times.

Every musician does sometimes. Im guessing your like 14 years old and haven't heard a wide variety of musicians because the only other person you mentioned is Corey Taylor.
