HE did NOT commit suicide. He even said so himself that he wanted to stay for his daughter. Also, the in-life-in-character Joker thing is a myth. The role did NOT drive him crazy. Actors that worked with him on the TDK set said he was a very happy and energetic man, and was very into his role. But I highly doubt that he'd commit suicide. The medications didn't mix well, and unfortunately, led to his death.

People keep saying that heath ledger commit suicide becuz of his dark role in batman they say that he couldnt sleep anymore but in one of his interviews he said that he had the most fun playing the joker. But then again if he couldnt sleep then that can explain the sleeping pills that he took. Good information. I totally didn't think that Heath committed suicide. He was a family man and loved Michelle and Matilda very much. I guess we'll never really know EXACTLY what happened to him. Not saying that he committed suicide just saying that only Heath knows what happened. Its really such a shame because his career would have sky rocketed after his performance in The Dark Knight. I rate this 5 stars for good infomation, THATS IT!!!, I thought Ledger was going to become a good actor, which I was right about as he was going to star in "Batman The Dark Kight" as "Joker", Even though I only seen him in two films, "Ten Things I Hate About You" and "A Kights Tale" I thought he was good, I am glad he died accidental and not suiccide which is good, still good actor, shame but will get over it!

The thing is... He was an upcoming actor, meaning he was playing good roles and being known. So why would he commit suiccide when his career was beginning to kick off, It dosn't make sence.
