Ok yes Taiji LOOKS slow and there is a reason for why we practice slow and do slow movements. If you are a true Gung Fu or Martial artist then you should start noticing how balanced he is and his movements can clearly show that if he moved fast on someone it has power. TKD has a major balance issue and I hope you noticed it. I know many teachers of TKD who has stated they dislike TKD because of that issue.
(don't let the fact I'm a musician fool you) I've trained for 48 years. Have applied the internal energies with non cooperative opponents. When training for precision and one goes fast, subtle nuances are missed, especially if the student is learning. Train slow w/good teacher, one is able to 'FEEL' Subtleties and find his overall balance and center more effectively. When fighting, no trouble to speed it up. The body will move the way it was trained, fast or slow. Train slow, master the body
Very nice sword movements. I love to watch this over and over again. One comment though: this is the Yang 67 posture sword form, not the 54 as described by Chen Wei Ming
very similar to a form that I learned in Wudang

This is beautiful. Almost identical to the way my Master is currently teaching me. I'm about halfway through at the moment. Some subtle differences.
What Jian are you using there, the grip looks longer than normal.

this looks like something one could do all day everyday for 100 years be at total peace with oneself (of course, guided by a master initially)
it would also be an ultimate spiritual experiance if u ate some LSD beforhand! but by then u probably would be past that by then
