Dude this is awesome man I wish u could teach me I love corey's style and have a band that has just finished recording an ep. If it's cool I could put it on YouTube and send u a link and u could give some very truthful feedback that would be appreciated and any tips too help me to be able to solo and improvise well would be very helpful. @cardsmn2 Well, I am doing my 2nd seminar in November. But it's all about theory and ear training with a smattering of reading. You may be able to get some of my knowledge from other students of mine touring your area. Keep checking my sites. I will be posting tours featuring Ryan (the fire place shredder, that almost won the dean contest) and The aisian invasion (Jon Allen). And send me your links. People will like your music, because it is done! Anf that is more than most can do.

Not in metal. But that is one style of music. My stuff is different, kinda like juiced up Gilmore. Corey is also a killer showman. When I saw him last, he was all over that stage. Best live metal I have seen since Maiden in 1984.

Yeah I play Jazz a little. In fact I am getting a chance to record some of my own jazz with the best drummer in Maine, he is 25-30. And I read cuz I play classical as well as jazz. But make no mistake rock is my gig! All stytles are worth learning!
