  • 2:30 Brave man for leaving the camera there =)

  • 10/10. Nice to hear the V8 having to dig deep at times!

  • Get the FR9090 on the job would eat it

  • @JCB434s and she isntt eating it allready

  • Nice vid. To answer some of the questions posted, if i may. Willow is normally used to power centeral heating boilers and not for bio mass, round here anyway. 2 year cycle from cut to cut. No ploughing needed there is a special like mole plough type yoke for that. Alot of men up our way inject sewage sludge into the crop as they get pay'd to draw it away and it doesent end up in the food chain. Very low input for a fair payback!

  • gorthill? as in bogs? as in derry? long way to go to chop timber!

  • wouldnt say that would b healthy for the harvester?

  • @savageproductions95 Surprisingly He says its not hard on it but yet he uses a Claas 870 for harvesting grass back home

  • nice video

  • I too would like some background on this operation if you have time - especially regarding the use of the chippings. im assuming its going as a dry biomass? - is this a three or four year coppice? Would love some close up video of the header, even if its just a walk around. Excellent video. Good tack. thanks for posting!

  • @edgey8D Hey there I will post a photo for you onto my new facebook page of the header so add me as a friend John Wandersonagain and check it out

  • @johnwandersonagain Photos now up on Facebook

  • Thanks John - very different! But questions - Do they dry it before delivery to power station, does it naturally regenerate? Do they have to plough the land and if so, how? Sorry - you don't have to answer these!!

  • @balmesh Hey Alan It goes straight to the plant and not sure what is done with it after It will regrow and they will cut again in a few years time..
