Little Willie, Duane, and Bill made that group, we used to go see them free of charge in Thayer Kansas when they were gospel, would love to have me a call so you can sing at his funeral, I know, too much to ask, but I tried, we are in Northwest Ark
Little Willie was just wonderful. You could hear a pin drop when he would sing at the all night singing's back in 1963. Strong voice for a little guy.
What a great video! Thanks for posting this. Can't get enough of that Mountain Man. I laugh when I think of how my now deceased dad would play this type of music on our old radio, turn up the volume and tap his foot and my siblings and I would roll our eyes. And now I enjoy it so! William Lee with a pompadour, suit and tie, smile on his face and such a perfectly choreographed number. Love it!

Willie Wynn was such an amazing voice. Amazing at the difference in Bill Golden now. Duane Allen still sounds great.

@hondarideralex I agree, but Richard Sterban has a fuller, richer sound, and his voice is deeper.

So that's what Duane Allen look like without all that hair on their heads and no beards.

This is a great song. It is hard to believe that two men in the middle are Duane Allen & Bill Golden. Can't get enough of this song.

They were at their best as gospel singers with this group.

What a find! I can't get enough of the old Oaks lineup from the '60s, best sounding group
they ever had from 1943 to the present. You got anything with Smitty Gatlin in the group?
