  • Little Willie, Duane, and Bill made that group, we used to go see them free of charge in Thayer Kansas when they were gospel, would love to have me a call so you can sing at his funeral, I know, too much to ask, but I tried, we are in Northwest Ark

  • Oak Ridge Boys? serius?

  • Willie Wynn was such an amazing voice. Amazing at the difference in Bill Golden now. Duane Allen still sounds great.

  • That was amazing!

  • 1965

  • Saw these guys in 1963 in Fort Worth Texas at the Battle of Songs. I will never get Little Wee Willie Wynn. Those were the days.

  • This is 1966 or 1967 I beleive.

  • William Lee had a 50's Elvis hair doo

  • Outstanding!

  • Great!

  • Which one of them grew out their hair at a very long length?

  • @sheltv100 William Lee Golden. The 3rd goin from left-right.

  • @CadillacL Ah ha, I see. Thanks a lot. God Bless You.

  • @sheltv100 God bless u2 :)

  • Bill Golden sure did have alot of hair on his head in the 1960's

  • Love them.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • herman harper was a such a good bass singer. his resonance is amazing.

  • Very close to London Parris

  • @hondarideralex To say the least..He was UNREAL..He is what bass should sound like!

  • @hondarideralex I agree, but Richard Sterban has a fuller, richer sound, and his voice is deeper.

  • Can't get enough of this video-thanks for the posting. Each voice so clean and man, they look sharp! Great song!

  • stupendous!!

  • is the tenor, Willy Winn? prob not spelled right

    thanks

  • Yep, that's Willy Wynn

  • lets all hold our hands on our legs and slap our thighs while we sing lol looks like they are trying to fly.

  • So that's what Duane Allen look like without all that hair on their heads and no beards.

  • This is a great song. It is hard to believe that two men in the middle are Duane Allen & Bill Golden. Can't get enough of this song.

  • Little Willie was just wonderful. You could hear a pin drop when he would sing at the all night singing's back in 1963. Strong voice for a little guy.

  • or can any one tell me how i can find this song?

  • Is this the real name of this song i can not find it on lime wire

  • this was beyond good it was just great...I wish I had this film classic .

  • I have the video tape. Contact me and I will send to you.

  • They were at their best as gospel singers with this group.

  • What a find! I can't get enough of the old Oaks lineup from the '60s, best sounding group

they ever had from 1943 to the present. You got anything with Smitty Gatlin in the group?

  • What a great video! Thanks for posting this. Can't get enough of that Mountain Man. I laugh when I think of how my now deceased dad would play this type of music on our old radio, turn up the volume and tap his foot and my siblings and I would roll our eyes. And now I enjoy it so! William Lee with a pompadour, suit and tie, smile on his face and such a perfectly choreographed number. Love it!

  • Can you believe it, William Lee Golden here too looking clean-cut.

  • Oh my goodness. Thank you. Little Willie in this one.
