What's in a tampon?

I have a thinngy called the Diva cup.. I love it and I diss like the dry ad cotten feeling of a tampon I have used tampons sence I was 11 and now I am 22 and I think the Diva cup is the best way better then any tampons or pads I dont like the smell of pads and tampons are unconfortable and bad for the enviroment if every lady used 17 thousand in there life can you imagin what is being flusheded into our water ewww the diva cup is awesome and I have noticed that my periods are shorter

I would love to use Organic tampons, I imagine there is a big difference in cost between the conventional and Seventh Generation brand right?

@PetalsofRoses7 This is Sue. Our tampons have a cardboard applicator and we also have tampons without applicators. We do not use plastic due to the potential effects of plastic. Let me know if you would like to try our applicator tampons.

do they make them with plastic applicators? i only use plastic applicators because card board hurts a lot...
