They both are true acually. Rasputin initialy was burried in Tsarskoe Selo, but during the revolution of 1917, he was exumed, and his remains burned.

Rasputin was buried in a secret location but after the Romanov family fell, he was exhumed and then the people who dug him defecated on his face and his body was burned. It was believed that they had castrated him and his genitals are on display in some museum. But this has not yet been verified.
