Thanks Joe...yeah you know it's funny, I put some soft synth on this (on MySpace page) , and i thought--NO WAY! leave it alone! So This one stands...I do seem to always come back to Pink Moon..
Hi Walt, This is absolutely amazing. It's got a real jazz quality, but unlike anything I've heard. Very original sound Walt. Sweet recording. Good to hear you back on the ole guitar! Peace my friend.
Hi Mark, Thanks for saying that my friend, and I would like to point out that you were quite an enormous inspiration to me in the writing and performing of this song. The song itself was several months old, but I was thinking about your original song "Tea In Brown Cups" when I reconstructed a few missing parts in the middle 8, and in the overall chord progression. More than anything, I think it made me relax up a bit which helped me to achieve more depth in my singing.
Very soulful and haunting, Walt....I haven't been around much lately....thought I'd wander up here and see what's going on with you....you got a way with lyrics and a guitar....ain't no doubt about it.
Hello Walt! I don't believe my eyes; you're back with you're guitar :) And an original to boot; this is a treat! Beautiful song you've written Walt; really enjoyed listing to you sing and play. First-rate recording. All stars to you my friend
Such a kind comment! Thank you so much for saying this Julie. :) It is, of course, my first guitar song in quite some time...a long LONG time to be exact! :-/ Well, all I can say is: no more LONG dry spells!! I Promise!!! :-)) LOL!

cool Walt!
there seems to be something wrong with the video - you've gone all green!
seriously, I like this - theres something to be the said for the intimacy of just a voice and a hesitant guitar
You know what I mean! you've heard Pink Moon (about as barebones as you can get that album!)

kinda like the Pink Floyd doing "Green is the colour" on the 1970 PBS special, where Gilmour's face goes green
SCARY!
