  • Im going this sunday! I can't wait! Well iv been i nthe ride 2 times but i cant wait to see it again!

  • I read that on Wikipedia that this attraction has a story:

Jack Skellington, usually in charge of the spectacular Halloween celebrations in Halloween Town, grows tired of these annual routines. One day, he accidentally discovers Christmas Town and is inspired by the new ideas and sensations. He then sets out to take over for "Sandy Claws" and run the mansion's Christmas celebrations in his own twisted style, with the help of the citizens of Halloween Town.

  • ya. thats the plot of the movie THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

  • @MegaAdam1000: the ride is based on the 1993 movie.

  • yes

  • do they do this anymore?

  • every year :]

  • Is the load area the advent calendar this year?

  • Who is that at 8:17, I don't remember that character from the movie.

  • That is one of the toys they made in the movie

  • he was one of the toy presents jack gave out .

    where's oogie boogie :(

he should be there on the end with his oogie wheel of holiday trick and holiday threats :(

  • There wasn't  all that much Sally and Jack! :{

  • It blows me away how they added ALL of that in just for a month and they did it so quickly too! WOAH

  • They actually do this for Halloween and Christmas, so it's pretty much done for three months, just about.

  • Man, I wish they did this at Disney World in Florida! We go every year, but we live in LA so Cali is pretty far for us lol

  • Yeah, I agree with you. I went to Disney World over Christmas and was dissapointed to see that they had no sign of a Haunted Mansion Holiday. Oh well. Maybe they'll do it in the future.

  • I wish disney world had this! :(

  • I second that! I got to Disney every year, but I live in LA so Disneyland's too far for now :(. I love NBC and HM, so this ride is simply fantastic!

  • that must be a very big house. So many things to see. And there was so many voices and sounds from other room aswell, that made it little more creepy^^

  • @Doomtouilas: the ride actually goes outside of disneyland and underground.

  • ARE YOU CRAZY?! :D I love both. lol But The Nightmare Before Christmas is like my favorite Disney movie! :)

  • very clear in the dark- was this filmed with some kind of HD camera?

  • The original ride is no fun imo :P. This looks great tho :D.

  • Cool video, does anyone know what year they added Ooggie to the ending of the ride?

  • the year after (2003)

  • No "camera lights" were used while shooting this video. I may have dropped into a night vision mode once or twice, but that is an invisible infra-red light. The Camera is nothing special... just an old Hi-8 Canon camcorder.

  • I want to know what camera you used!!!
