we were close but we lost. wat i expected to happen. i knew we werent going to get blown out. panthers helped the niners today by beating the cards!! so were still just 1 game behind arizona. and we get to come back home next week. were still taking the nfc west. im glad were still just 1 game behind the cards after this tough stretch.

The niners have a 90% chance of getting destroyed this week BUT if Gore does reach the century mark and scores a touchdown the 49ers have a shot at staying in the game. Indy's run D isn't that good (or hasnt been since bob sanders has been out) and their passing D has only given up 2 TD's all year. In order for gore to have success Smith MUST make the Colts passing defense pay thru the air to get bob sanders out of the box. make the linebackers play farther back.
