Germany is the best country for metal IN MY OPINION, because they have more bands i like than any other country. My fav band is SIC from the faroe islands, I love this band, I also like slipknot, korn, and a bunch of other bands from America. I am from Canada, and I like alot of Canadian bands as well. I also have bands from Japan to Brazil. I have respect for all music and all music tastes!

@TheViciousViper hey there, we really try not to sound like Lamb of God or any other band for that matter, but I have to agree that sometimes we do. But listening to the complete album, you'll see that we've tryed to go in other directions as well. Lamb of God is a great band though :).

the only two of those bands i listen to are Cannibal Corpse and Xasthur. i don't like thrash personally, but I give credit where credit is due and they were incredibly influential on the genre, and i hate it when someone bashes an entire country's music because they think it's cool like you do. As far as mainstream goes, i don't care if the msuic is mainstream or not like Rob Zombie, but my favorite bands are Behemoth, Svartsot, Enslaved, Taake, Shape of Despair, and Kult ov Azazel
