  • bodyline assholes form is over-rated, Ronnie, Jay, Branch have you guys seen their videos form out the window pure power and as many reps as they can do, point is keeping tension on the muscle is the most important thing not form dumbasses.

  • form has everything to do with it. if you dont go all the way down, you dont get the full stretch of the muscle, therefore not using the muscle to the full potential.

  • When your doing heavy weight and break 90 degrees on the way down it puts a lot of stress on your cuff.

  • Got a questions: is it best to work to failure or have a challenge workout you can finish? I can bench around 325-335 and squats are around 450-460. I've been doing regular sets and not working to failure, I want to try it out what can I expect? thanks for any feed back guys.

    and those videos are old. i pulled 495 from the pins a few weeks ago and pulled 455 from the floor easily after 8x3 of squats

  • yeah no shit powerlifters use board presses. for main powerlifting movements, they lock out the weight no matter if they're going from a board or from their chest. if they dont lock it out it's no lift. Ryan Kennelly's 405x20 wasn't heavy for him, that was more like a burnout/reptetition set...not a heavy set of 1-3 reps.

  • Actually, the idea is to bring the weights down to your shoulders but to not fully lock out. Ask any competative lifter and they'll tell you that what this guy is doing in this video is fucking hilarious and barely works a goddamn thing. Get off his nuts, he's not all that strong.

  • more better muscle development and definition he should have used 80's and gone almost all the way down and done the movement slower and for 12-14 reps. but he was probably doing this on his last set for mass and shock his shoulders. That is a very impressive lift---not people can do that for shoulder press.
