hi dude. i finally got one. could have told me that the 50mm was a must have ! damn took me a while to work that one out, i have the lense coming in the post. I got a seperate audio recorder the H4N so im not worrying about use Magic Lantern yet. i cant wait for the rain to stop so i can do some more filming. any tips let me know i got a few extra batteries and a big card coming. tripod also :D post some more videos dude :D
hi ninteh. used to play cs against you ages ago, allways watched your vids and stuff. your new camera looks great and i was thinking about getting one because apart from the shake the quality looks professional and some good filming could be done on it. would it be worth getting for Just filming HD movies ? im not that interested in photography just the filming. also whats the max amount of time you could film for i.e data and filesize limite etc. cheers mate
@sine0 Hey :) Yeah it's good for movies, obviously better on a steadicam or a tripod though :P some tv programmes are actually filmed primarily on DSLR now days, I know that much! videos are limited to 29mins 59sec so its not classed as a camcorder under uk law.. but aside that, the only limit is how big the memory card is you put in it!

so what is the price of these did you shop around for a good price and the
1.8 lens is that an extra ? the videos are limited to 29mins and how many of them fit on the card ? i mean if filming something lengthy you could quickly stop and then start again right ? or is that 30 mins on the 16gb card. i would really like to do some documentry stuff and i have a samson c03 mic coming in the post next couple of days!
@sine0 I got jap import version for 599, lens was 75 extra.. can find more infos on how much will fit on memory card etc via googling, i reckon 4gb will hold about 10 mins 1080p
