Program doesn't work. Does nothing fails on both vista,xp and 7 for me. All drivers are good itunes, is fully updated to latest crap. Instructions done properly, Instead of running the jailbreak to turn my Ipod 3G Back on becus i accidently shut it off, the program would not run and i had to restore, LOOSING everything. This Jailbreak is un fucking stable, thanks alot.

i tried to Jailbreak my iphone 3gs like 2 months ago with BlackRain, i got all the pictures you have but then i got into a white screen, witch is got stuck on. My Iphone did not get any connection to itunes, or not even powercharge, so i could't resetet it, it was dead like a rock, and i had to return it to Apple so they gave me a new phone :( i dont know what i did wrong, and now i am apraid to try again :/ but i rly want a jailbroken iphone :/

Tether = you have to jailbreak it EVERY time you power up your iPod (after it shuts down).

At 1st, the guy & spinwheel wasn't on. Then, I had to reinstalled 3.1.2 and re-jailbreak it. This time, I did see the guy & spinwheel. I followed the directions in the video & description panel. It was SOOOO easy, too! I'm pretty sure yours is jailbroken, you just don't notice anything different (except the black rain drop that looks like an app icon). If not, make sure you really do have 3.1.2 before trying this fool-proof method. :o)

Can you check to make sure you definitely have 3.2.1? Go to Settings -> General -> About -> Version (7th one down) should be 3.1.2. If you do have the correct firmware, then it should work. =? I'd recommend you message the make of this video to ask since he seems to know more about this stuff.

I have the iTouch 2G, so I had to install 3.1.2 firmware. Since you would probably have the newest iPhone, you'll probably already have 3.1.2 (but just check to make sure), so you would just need to follow the directions of this video. It would only take like 1-2 min. Very sweet & simple. =)

No, I meant the jailbreaking process took me only under a minute. ^^; Downloading the fireware would take ~30-45 min. since it's more than 200MB. =) When you get your iPhone, check to make sure it already has the latest fireware before installing the 3.1.2 fireware you've already downloaded. =)

Well, I'm probably the only odd person who doesn't use my iTouch for songs. ^^; So, I really don't use iTunes at all & never sync. However, when I plug it into the computer, and it automatically syncs, it'll erase the stuff that isn't in your iTunes. So, before you jailbreak, make sure you plug it in & uncheck the 'automatic syncing' feature in the iTunes program. You can still sync manually.

I haven't tried syncing with songs. I've searched online that many people experience the same thing after jailbreaking, too. Why don't you try this after getting it on Xmas? Get 1 song in iTunes, transfer it over to your iPhone, get a free app, then jailbreak & resync to see if it'll wipe everything anew. From my research, I've find that after jailbreaking & TRYING to resync, people push the 'set iPod as new' and it'll work, too.

Okay, upon more research just now, you can actually transfer stuff from your iPhone to your computer. In iTunes, just click File->Transfer purchases from iPod to computer and you're set. (I haven't experimented with songs/movies, yet, but this solution works for apps.) Just make sure you uncheck the automatic syncing so you can make the transfers without erasing anything (as described earlier).

Its not 100% for bell or telus Iphones. Since they are new they only get tethered. Coming from a bell/telus customer and have used this operation on my phone I have found that it goes to DFU mode everytime u restart ur phone. Not sure this is worth it till its 100%
