Milk a franchise for all its worth 2.) to provide a vehicle for the great comedian Richard Pryor and 3. ) to go away from the greatest villian he faced ( Lex Luthor ) or could have faced ( Doomsday or Darkseid ) in order to KILL this franchise. This movie was the kryptonie bullet that nearly killed him & Part 4 was the person shoving the bullet deeper in order to make sure it was dead. Only good thing was Annett O' Tool ( who played clarks mom on Smallville ) ...
The movie was definitely not good.... But that trailer made it look awesome!!! The story wasn't all that bad. It was the telling of the story that was awful. Here's to Man of Steel 2013!!!

You sir have sucessfully combined the great content of the old with the new wonders of technology. It makes you realize how crappy today's actors and directors are, even with 10000 bit audio.
My only suggestion is this. You succeeded in the intense, dark side of the movie. But the positive, hopeful side of the Superman theme is lost. You need to add the brighter side to the trailer.
This is so good I wish it was the OFFICIAL trailer! Because it should damn well be. Love the last 10 sec worth with all the rapid images. Adrenaline pumpin dude! lol
I still like Superman III. Can't see how anyone can badmouth a Chris Reeve film. C'mon there are worser Superman productions and other superhero films out there (Elektra? Punisher? Certain episodes of Smallville and Lois and Clark?)...
Wow that was brilliant editing dude. As much as the film sucks, it DOES have a beginning, middle and end unlike Superman IV. And I thought Robert Vaughn played a good villain, despite the fact the he played a Luthor knock off... I remember when I first watched this as a kid, I thought Ross Webster was Lex after plastic surgery, that would've been an interesting twist. Overall, this really shows your talent... you made a slap stick, goof off of a film into an action packed epic.
