good job guys maybe try a red t-shirt next go bloods instead of cryps LOL i learned a few things from your vid im just starting to make outdoor tables myself from merbau cheers
I am sitting here in Norway, and watching you guys making those wonder fool, and magnificent jobs, and I just want to say thank you guys, because I have learned much from you guys.
Thanks again, and I hope I will see yet another nice and creative job from you!
i like the way you chose a clear type varnish/laquer in order to see the different grains and wood types going through-out the whole table.
im not a carpenter by any means, and i just got interested in woodworking ( only got lessons on routering by my uncle the last day ), but instead of chamfering the legs with a belt sander, why didnt you just chamfer it with a 1/4 inch router bit?
hi dave and thanks for the feedback. we didn't rout the table legs because it wasn't a very critical cut and the belt sander is much more easy and quick for that job. stop by again, more videos coming soon.
Really cool guys, thanks so much for sharing.

an excellent suggestion. two reasons why we chose not to do so.
1. the redwood is very soft and we didn't want to go too deep.
2. we want to be able to take the legs off easily to move it.
a great observation though and thanks for stopping by.
