I've always found the best way to get the Peeps to come along quietly is to lick the eyes off of them. This way, they don't freak-out when its time to Smore-them.
I showed this video to my kids because I thought it was so cute. I didn't post the comment that is on here and I don't think the person in the video is a weirdo. In fact we are planning next Easter to try the Peeps Smores. Sorry if you or anyone else was offended.
Peep Smores are definitely a fun way to make sure all your Easter peeps and bunnies get eaten. In the video I used a candle to get the peeps to be melty, in hindsight I'd suggest using a fondue burner to more evenly cook your peeps.
After making the video I still had a ton of peeps and bunnies and a full tummy so I uses a cheap chocolate fondue set (one could use a double boiler) to melt the rest of the bunnies and then I dipped the peeps in and sat them on wax paper in the fridge to harden and Voile! Chocolate cover peep treats my friends can take home and eat the next day!
What a great idea. The only problem with that is, in my family, the Peeps are usally the first to go....lol. I'm gonna buy extra Peeps this year and try your idea. Sounds like fun. Thanx. Big V.
