this phone was awesome.

It's cheapest and better spec's than any other low-end android. I've owned the following:

htc snap < cliq

tmobile g1 (dream) < cliq

motorola spice < cliq

You can buy the phone unlocked and it'll work with most providers, and it's really good 5mp camera and good speed (no lagg). If you update the OS it's basically equal to new model phones. The phone is AWESOME FOR GAMES, including gameboid/other emu's. If you can buy this for under $130 you're getting an A+ phone!

Hate this phone! Just got it and within hours it lost all my contacts. Should have known when they had to hook it up to a machine at the store to transfer my contacts from my SIM card. VERY slow. Won"t accept passwords on ie: facebook and others.

this phone is good, if all you want is an android phone that does basic things.

Just kidding, it can barely do that. this phone sucks. Motorola has no support for this phone. the blur hogs battery and looks very ugly and cluttered. to make this phone keep up with basic android models, you have to root it. it has no flash player and camera flash, tons of lag, very crappy specs, horrible build quality, etc.

the only advantage is the physical keyboard, and even that is sketchy.

@scaremenga That's because his battery is REALLY low in this video, of course it's losing power and it's going to lag. Use a fully charged CLIQ and THEN judge it for yourself.

@Tazy50 My Samsung Vibrant's performance takes no hit at low battery vs. fully charged. I doubt the CLIQ would either. Anyways, you can just look through the comments and see how other CLIQ owners feel about the performance of the phone... a lot of them complain of lag.

@scaremenga Actually I fugred that the "lag" mostly comes when there are MOTOBLUR accounts signed inged into the phone like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. But when there are no accounts signed up, and you just use the Facebook app from the Market, then the phone is MUCH faster. and with the android 2.1 upgrade, things are much better and more efficient :)

It has a D-Pad in the bottom If you had a g1 you'll get used to it (Trust me) Its much more easier then The TrackBall. The camera Isn't bad And with apps in the market im pretty sure you can download another one; The Camera is clear but has to be in good lighting. other than that its pretty good. P.S.
