@206sole I agree, and I've since changed my form. This video is three years old, and I've switched from bodybuilding to competitive powerlifting as well. thanks!
@DragonDude180 Actually unless you are doing your last rep and are really fatigued that's usually not the case. you can literally spot someone with one finger and it will help them a LOT. So in most cases it's 98% you and 2% spotter.
@Juice8711 there is NO i mean NO such a thing as to much range of motion in a lift. well not normally. if it was a barbell i could accept it and alltho his form wasnt terrible he couldve gone further down.
@muzimuzi OK first of all if you are strength training there are different ways to lift. You can train your upper range of motion and do partial reps or your bottem portion by just going from your shoulder or chest to a certain point up...Actually in many cases it is stupid to go all the way down because you put too much unwanted stress on the shoulder or bodypart you are training. That being said his form is fine
yeah yell at your spotter.....then see if he helps you when your labrum is getting destroyed because that last rep you had ended up destroying your shoulder because you had to drop it and a very awkward position.
Get your weight up son, im 18 years old at 170lbs shoulder pressing 100lbs dumbellsx8 this is weak
