typical motif...the white savior/leader of.....  tarzan, avatar, crocodile dundee, emerald forest, dances with wolves. btw. you always hear about white couples adopting minority children (i'm sure very nice people, god bless them), but you never hear about minority couples adopting white children. it's almost taboo.
