WOW, look at that. I know water is so basic and so necessary, without everything is vulnerable. Living in a dry climate, I have to deal with issue also. That pressure issue is what has kept me from installing an irrigation system, if I could go back, I would have planted my garden directly into the ground. Would have made things easier in that regards. Keep us updated!

It seems like you could do with a lot more ground cover and mulch, which would slow evaporation. Masanobu Fukuoka covered his land with rice straw.
