Haha, loved the vid :-) Fun fact for you: Higher primates (and apparently dogs) yawn contagiously. Nearly every other species on the planet yawns spontainiously (even fish and reptiles!), the notable exception is the giraffe! I'm a bit of a yawning geek, it's a great fun subject to learn about :)

yawning happens when there is a lack of oxygen to the lungs..but i have no idea why its contagious...i get people in class to yawn all the time

Thats not true actually, yawning is nothing to do with respiration. Truth is nobody knows why we yawn, the best guess so far is that it is a brain cooling mechanism :)

Been watching a few yawn videos, and yup another one just came out.

It all seems to start somewhere in the lower part of my throat, it seems like the muscles are first contracting a few as a result of watching the other person yawn and feel so good about it :)
