The DS is really great as a handheld game device and not much else. I love playing Civ Revolution, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games on the DS but I wouldn't really use a camera or have it play music or anything so I'll pass on this one.

The PSP is doesn't really work as well as a game device, but it works really well if you watch a lot of films etc. I don't mean UMD, instead get a 8gig memory stick (pretty cheap these days) and at about 700mb (avi file) a movie it's great in 16:9 widescreen!

I guess that DSi is meant to be a personal console, so that's why it's named "I" as in "Me".
