Follow the tutorial and it works perfectly. I had no idea that iPhone did this until I read that the new 4.3.3 update removes this! So I guess, if you actually like this tracking information, then you shouldn't update :)

@TheJasperkitty google said in a statement that they only store your last known position on the phone, so every time your position updates, it overwrites the last position. however you can enable google latitude, which will track your location in the background and associate it with your google account so that your friends can view where you are.
@TheJasperkitty ah i know what you're talking about. they do use user locations to help with their traffic condition data, but i think that has to be enabled. i could be wrong.
Hi I'm getting an error when opening the database file with SQLite browser 2.0 and receive no message at all wen opening it with version 1.1 (nor does the database data show up).
@WCASD you're probably just choosing the wrong file. it's possible that your number does not begin with 4096. apparently a few people have had that problem. only way to figure it out is to guess and check, and try different files to see if it's the correct one. it still should be a larger file.
every phone and every computer will have a different set of numbers. the identities of these files and folders are hidden in a manifest file. this is to protect from simple malware attacks. the file you are looking for will be one of the largest in this folder, and if you open them with a hexedit program (xvi32 is awesome) the first few bytes of the file will be 'SQLITE'. this is the file you need.
@stevediraddo then why does my file name match the file name of the guy that wrote the iphone tracker software EXACTLY? every single character is the same.
@supercomputer12 it appears they are the same for many people, though it may be different depending on firmware version or itunes version or operating system. i havent figured that part out but they are not guaranteed to be similar.
I've only had the iphone (VZ) a month. I get to the backup file but then sqllitebrowers says all the data files are not a sql file and the numbers don't match your video. Any ideas?
@tumblehome88 hmmm. it's possible that the verizon version has a different number. i probably should have mentioned that mine is AT&T, haha. what you could do is sort the backup folder by size like i did in the video and just just try a bunch of the larger files. although you've only had it a month so the file may not be that large =\
i apologize if it's hard to see. i didn't think about how small it would look on a youtube scale. my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 so that's why some of it is a little too small to read on this small scale.

Where's the app to track Android phones. I mean they're uploading it to Google, the most corrupt morals company ever.

@supercomputer12 It came out today, this is not what they do. They store a history too AND pass it to Google often.
