Job fairs are a waste of time. Waiting in line to give someone your resume when you could have just sent a lot more by mail and really blanked the area.

I was there. There were over 1,000 people waiting in line with me included. I gave my resume to every company and I did not get a job. Job fairs are a waste of time. Good thing I did not wait from 6am I got there at 10am and it was packed and the line was endless.

I haven't had a job for over two years now and I am in a desperate situation I need a job and money but I guess the way things are going I am going to become a bum in the street one day

In my opinion job fairs have always been and will always be a waste of time.

A.Waaay too many people go to them.

B. If companies are hiring they are doing it to find cheap labor from desperate people.

This was a GREAT event! I made lots of contacts and had my resume revamped. It was cold outside, but the spirit of the people was energizing. I'm very happy I went! The country needs more of these events - its better than sitting in front of a computer scrolling monster and craigslist.
