  • This scene hits me on so many emotional levels. I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid and didn't quite know what to make of it. As an adult, I see exactly what this scene is. All of those lost boys saw that Peter aged and became an adult. He forgot what it was to be a child, as have I. I forgot what it was to leave a carefree existence, I left that traits of my personality behind. I forgot what it was to be a child.

What a powerful scene. What a great film.

  • Haha Robin mouths Too-Little's welcome back along with him!

  • Little David Alan Grier did a great job as a lost boy in this scene!

  • I have watched this scene time and time again. This incapsulate the power of innocence and youth. Wer a chilf can see past the exterior and find the lost soul. It is so beautiful and score brings me so much happiness.

  • welcome back to neverland pan da man...

  • i think a lot of people miss the point of the face that the kid contorts robin williams' face into. it's not like he's giving him a facelift. he's making peter smile again. this movie is beautiful, this scene is epic, this soundtrack is golden.

  • One person stayed on Rufio's side of the line.

  • @niggly54 u mean when they ran up to peter

  • Classic Steven Spielberg's scene.. This is beautiful!

  • wonder how he makes that sound with his mouth 1:05-1:06 b4 he says oh there you are peter

  • What third-rate hack made this film?

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen

    Thank you Steven!

  • its funny how when pockets walks around him and than it like he being in charge of peter pan like when he pulls him down.

  • I thought he should've been Peter Pan in the end.

  • @animegrl187 me 2 i was surprised peter didn't give him the sword at the end. Since he believed he was him from the geco

  • When Roofio moved at 1:18 was he anxious to see it was Peter or was he pissed that they all went to him?

  • @faceless665 Rufio knew from the begining that Peter was in fact "The Pan". Rufio wants Pan back as much as the others, but also feels resentment to Pan for leaving in the first place. It isn't that he wants to give up his sword, its that he doesn't trust Pan to not hurt him again.

  • @faceless665 both.

  • I LOVE THE MUSIC!

  • That child is so cute when he says, "Oh there you are, Peter..." :)

  • I love this movie, and this scene has always given me ASMR since I was a little kid. I'm not sure why, but I love it. :) Thanks for posting!

  • @Bridges626

Me too. I used to rewind it and watch it over and over. In fact, the only reason I am here is for an ASMR fix =P. Feels good man.

  • @Bridges626 what asmr

  • What is that kid saying at 1:42? I can't understand anything

  • @Frame05 "Welcome back to Neverland, Pan the Man!" :)

  • @Bridges626 Now it all makes sense :D thanks

  • @Frame05

He said "welcome back to neverland pan the man" :)

  • that little black kid is devin from phunk phenomenon! <3333

  • @vaehxo thats kinda racist dude.

  • @MultiICandy i never said anything bad about black people, i said "that little black kid." i'm not racist, my boyfriend and my cousins are black.

  • Oh my I could of said something bad involving Mr. Jackson but I wont...

  • @JosapahRay Mr.Jackson was innocent. Please take a moment to learn about his true character by looking up and listening to an interview conducted with his friend of 20 years David Nordahl. (Search Reflections on the dance-interview with David Nordahl.) The truth can also be obtained at MJJ-777.com and the Vindicating Michael websites.

  • @t441000 I was being silly :P

  • if you could and also want to, please upload the scene where he says goodbye to the lost boys and leaves for home, thanking them for believing as he flies away. it's a short one, but it's beautiful and i believe has the same exact score

  • i'm 22 years old, in a fraternity, haven't cried in lord knows how long, and searched "hook there you are peter" to see if i could get it all out... i LOVE this movie.

  • It's not until the little one discovers Peter's smile when he recognizes who he really is. When's the last time you smiled? Didn't you feel better? Smiles can be a window to true happiness. Finish this sentence, I smile because..... Let me know.

  • anyone know how to get the music from this scene?

  • @hurricanes4evr

i got the music, if you PM me i'll email it to you. :D

  • kudos to john williams he is the best.

  • what he doing at 0:44-0:45

  • There's something about that little black boy... he has a look about him that makes him look much older and wiser than he is. In the movie he's playing an old man, possibly hundreds of years old, trapped in a boys body and I must say the actor portraying him really pulled it off quite well. Amazing scene!

  • I can watch this scene many times and I will never get tired of it

  • man that lil boy is gangsta yo

  • that kid is proper ghetto lol 2.10 onwards

  • that kid is proper ghetto lol 2.15 onwards

  • I wonder how pockets made that sound with his mouth at 1:05-1:06

  • My Nan just had a jew. jew said i like fat asion kids they are so cute, that they wnna fuck asion guys up the arse hole

  • ha! That little kid is cute.

  • Always loved this movie. It was a while since i saw it again, when i did this scence made me cry. Boo Hoo great movie

  • what is dont ask doing@ 2:29 to peters face

  • my fav movie since i was as young as i can remember. im 17 and i can still cry to this. the directing is beautiful. very moving scene.

  • me and my sister love this part of the film

  • willyum the quality of the video is so good. How do you make these videos from movies?

  • i think this scene is so cute :)

  • 1:00 Face lift!

  • One of my favorite scenes! And when they get ready for battle

  • welcome back to neverland pan the man. one of the best lines of the entire film.

  • "Oh there you are, Peter!"

Such powerful words to a very powerful scene.

  • this is my most favorite scene. very touching

  • Me to 5 stars!!! i think it is everyones favorite!! I can't believe this movie was so underated!!

  • @mbtkabjd no pun intended....hardy har!

  • what?

  • @mbtkabjd you said "very touching" i said no pun intended because the kid is "touching" peter. do you get it?

  • o i c

  • I love this scene here it makes me tear up every time i see it.. It just goes to show how powerful one little boy's will to check out and believe in one person is...

    I always loved Hook

  • my friend wants me to ask why did he poke his stomach 0:11-0:12

  • because peter pan was skinny, not fat.

  • ok she has been told that he was folowing the foot prints that tink left

  • ok now everyone ,, lets me honest, who alll cried on this scene cause im here to tell you, i cried my eyes out,,,, for many reasons but biggest one is , how many of us forgot who we are inside , who our inner child is.

  • werd.

  • remember this, we didnt stop playing cause we got old, we got old cause we stopped playing,

  • @aishahossam your comment was very beautiful. it touched me a lot... this use to be my favorite movie when i really little back in the early 90s.

  • I didn't mean to thumbs down. You put that beautifully. This scene makes me cry almost every time see it. We all forget our inner child is there, but it is always there.

  • @aishahossam I haven't, mostly because I come back to this movie at least one a year, if not more, and watch it

  • I think personally people cry at this seen is because they do remember. They still fell how beautiful it was, and how so many people have decided not to perform such acts. It’s the truth and beauty that makes me cry, and I would assume others. Other times I do not cry at all but just remember and smile, and how beautiful this Childs soul is. His very soul is so therapeutic. So I do not think it is us forgetting it is more a reminder. Thank God for Children.

  • epic scene

  • One of my favorite scenes in Hook. Thanks for putting this clip up.

  • does anyone notice what he does with the glasses? after he takes them off looks at them he puts them down but where?

  • I always believe the boy put them in Peter's hands. Because he looks like he is holding them when talking to Rufio at the very end.

  • what u think that boy with the curly hair doing whe nhe goes behind him and puts his hand on the side of his face its 1:17-1:20

  • No Idea, I think the cast of boys were supposed to gather around Robin and the curly hair boy got behind Robin instead. *shrugs* That's what I think.

  • i guss the other lost boys sort of had hope it was him because they are standing there waiting and having looks on there faces like could if be or is it really him u know what im saying

  • Its like its still hope left, when the littile kid is the only one that stayed with him and everybody else didn't believe in him at the time!

  • y he do that @ 0:50

  • Do you mean touching Peter's face? If so, hes just trying to see if it really is Peter.

  • @benamy02 he's making him smile :)

  • @benamy02 He's trying to see if Peter is still somewhere inside of him. When he sees the smile, he recognizes him because children for the most part are carefree.

One of the best scenes in the film.

  • @banglefaar oh ok it funny when he smiles he like pushing on his face. it also funny when he starts after he takes the glasses off peter face he gets alittle worried like what are u doing have u notice that

  • aww this part is so sweet I love this movie!

  • cried at this bit b4 gr8 film

  • I mean @ 0:43 and 0:44

  • I commented on another video of this. This one is better quality. But let me say that this is my favorite movie of all time. And this is the most moving scene of the entire movie. This movie deserves some award for...I don't know...being eternally and immortally beautiful. I cannot express in enough words my love for this movie and it's endless beauty.

  • I sure do appreciate the comment! And i try to do the best =)

  • @musicAL722 I just happen to agree with that statement. It's not until the little one discovers Peter's smile then he realizes that it real is Peter Pan. It is through our smile that people are able to discover their soul.

I smile because.....? think about it. Why do you smile?

  • @musicAL722 dude im 23 and i first saw this 6 or 7 and it still brings tears to my eyes its mad deep at this part 100% true what you said

  • @musicAL722 Awesome comment mate! I also feel a strong emotional connection for this movie too and its moving score! What a privilege to have enjoyed this as child in the '90s.

  • whats the name of the soundtrack of this particular song?

  • ''You are the Pan'' John Williams :)

  • Hook theme - You are the Pan.

one of the greatest soundtracks ever love it, it has something of eternity

  • LMOA, I was talking about this scene t'other day. This film is so so so underrated!

  • simply beautiful!!

  • I love this scene, its so coooool :) i give this movie 100 out of 10 :D
