YT does their own soundtrack identification by computer matching. If you look just below the viewer count on the lower right of the video you will see that YT has ID'd the Artist as Silvia. They obviously know more than the uploader who has been made abundantly aware of the incorrect singer by these comments but yet refuses to correct it. Does anyone really believe that this uploader would have this many views and comments if the singer had been correctly identified?

It was on her album, 'Just Sylvia,' and it remained on the charts for 20 weeks and went gold. I still have my tape, and it still plays beautifully! Not sure why the user has mislabeled this song - other than it promotes comments where otherwise there would be NO comments. I do think Sylvia did a great job on this catchy song but unfortunately she did not follow up with any other hits.

@peacefulPandora Hi, I thought the same for years and always meant to buy the album but didn't however, I researched it on all the Crystal Gayle sites and books, she sings a couple songs beginning with the word "Nobody" different songs Check the post by ziggylia it's the studio version "Sylvia - Your nobody called today" Crystal Gayle has a much fuller voice, better too. In some parts you definitely hear this is not Gayle's style at all.
@peacefulPandora I actually wish Crystal Gayle sang it. Her voice is absolutely beautiful and has a better style. I am sure it would have been a crossover too and top both charts. Maybe she should do it now? Crystal sang "Nobody wants to be alone" and "Nobody's Angel" If Crystal did it, there wouldn't be that canned music behind her either. That's an 80's synthesizer, and very annoying. Crystal would have had a real country band backing her up.
@peacefulPandora I just looked at the bottom of the video screen, the iTunes Amazon Mp3 official download of the song says "Sylvia". The heading says "Crystal Gayle" Legally, they have to put the correct name of the artist so the profits go to the right person, or an artist will sue iTunes/Amazon. I didn't notice it before. I am a big fan of Gayle's and own many of her albums. Listened to her all the time, so I am shocked I made the mistake too. And, I mean albums, not CD's.
