Obviously this happens a lot during live shows but i've also noticed it in recordings over the years as well.... just sayin. ;)

@Syne111 they're pretty dead-on from what i can tell bro, there might be an extra word in the part where it says spray whirled across the bay or w/e other than that it all seems correct or very close

@lynchaxxonn i followed the lyrics from the album booklet. you never know though, they could have made an error. the spray whirled across the bay bit sounds right to me. the bit at 4:45 where it says 'not only with lips but eyes' sounds wrong to me, i think it should be just 'not on lips but eyes'. maybe it's just the singers accent or something idk.

The best song of 2010 arrived earlier on in the year. This is a brilliant album that plays to its premise perfectly - Charles Darwin's On The Origin Of Species. The first half might appear sprawling to some, but the scuttling dissonance acts as a pretext for the brilliance that comes on the second disc.  What drives this song is the tension building up from disc 1. What's possibly the coolest aspect of this album is that it evolves into pop music nearer the end.

@MattF012 i feel ya but it's very understandable that some people just enjoy the knife but not quite in that experimental of a mode, it's a little bit much for me i love colouring of pigeons but the opera needs to be seen and heard it's not ideal as an album and it pains me to say that as a huge fan but they have a new album just announced for 2012(pitchfork posted it) so that's cool and like i said it's really made with the ideal presentation to be in the opera itself. but might as well release
