umd comes with the GPS unit.. extra maps are for sale on PSN and on UMD... for sale online and in stores.

And do i need to get a japan psp or does it work on the usa psp. and i hate to say this but where would i go to get a umd or downland maps of the us and mexico? Sorry for all the questions but my lil sis B-Day is coming up and i want to get her a pimped out psp

GPS doesn't need internet.. the module is universal so any PSP works with it.. the maps for USA (mexico not sure)are just released and are on the playstation store...now i don't know your money situation but a full set is gonna set you back atleast 300 dollar ;-) (the complete gps set alone cost 150 euro here, the module alone is round 90 euro, maps 20/40 euro)

thanks.. yes it has a voice...male or female voice... the map came on a UMD with the whole set (GPS/CRADLE/CHARGER/UMD) I got the 'benelux' disc it has netherlands belgium and luxemburg on it...

..there's also is a complete EU map and individual maps like germany and england for sale on UMD and on PSN (PSP/PS3 Store) full EU map cost 40 euro and individual maps 20 euro... and yes they install on the mem.stick. so you need space! (700+MB or EU map alone)..or get the UMD (little slower and needs more power)
