How to properly brew good coffee:

1. Use clean equipment.

2. Only use cold, fresh water.

3. 60 - 70 grams of ground coffee per 1 Litre of water is sufficient.

4. The temperature should be between 92 - 96 Degrees Celcius (fuck off america).

5. The brew time should be about 5 minutes.

6. Serve fresh, within 30 minutes of brewing.

And remember boys and girls: Coffee is best when it is newly burned. Like this video.

Some shops advertise with "newly ground coffee" but that does not say anything about how old the coffee itself is. Coffee beans store a lot of aroma, and will lose a lot over time. If you are enthusiastic about coffee, you can ask a barista or even look at this site: coffeeuniverse(dot)com, it has a lot of good information. Not a stupid question at all!
