I was hoping they would be moist. Soft. And like the video said 'best vanilla cupcake ever' don't waste your time making these. Kids won't even touch them. But kudos to the woman in the video for making the video. Maybe where your from cake is different.
So, I made these last night. Followed the recipe EXACTLY and usually I don't. But I figured I should. They were beautiful cupcakes. Beautiful icing. But the icing could use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. My icing was just so bitter. It needed to be sweeter. And the cupcake was like a vanilla cupcake had a baby with an angel food cake. I didn't not like it. It was dry. I even pulled it out of the oven before it was completely done (because it keeps baking even after pulling it out)
