I used to love my N-Gage, I really cherished it years before the capacitive "smartphone" became a thing of the norm. Of course the resistive/stylus windows mobile and palm OS devices were out, the N-Gage stood out. 1 day I was driving down Los Feliz on my way back from Hollywood, stopping at a gas station. I got back into my car and drove home, realizing that my phone had vanished. I drove back to the gas station, and no sign (obviously someone would have taken it). Saddest day ever.

It was more efficient to an N-gage classic because you won't need to remove the memory card when switching games. If you still have an N-Gage, I suggest you just buy a expandable memory card and download games on it

The port of call of duty was horrible on this phone, if you want to see a good fps on this console/phone, try Ashen.

I still have my n-gage and still play it from time to time, I think it's an underrated console/phone, which was killed because of the pricing/selling policy (it was supposed to be a console, but only sold in phone shop, with contract and at a phone price...), today it's a nice system to have on his collection, and can find find at dirt cheap if you are lucky.

Best phone i ever had, the swedish version even came with functionality to scare off mosquitos. It was AWSOME! Had msn messenger, opera webbrowser, mail client, full MMC slot, mp3 player and videoplayer that could play all xvid, mpeg4, divx and most other formats. The battery at new state lasted 27days on one charge unless you played 3d games.

Honestly Im surprised that Nokia had such a powerful device back in the day. When the game was loading I saw 2004 but Im pretty sure it was made out little earlier. I think NOKIA is not getting the credit it deserves for what it has done. Mostly Im angry that Apple claims that they made the first front camera phone, NOKIA had in 2004 or 05. Apple is great but they claim too many things for what was done before they even thought of doing phones!

I remember the ngage, and that it did horrible in the market. No one i knew had one, but i do remember advertisements on TV. I had a gamecube at the time and it's graphics already kicked the ngage's ass. i got my gamecube in 04 and my first games where smash bros, tony hawk 3, and rogue squadron 8D. I still remember it like yesterday, and around a year later the ds and psp came out. I got both haha. 04 was an amazing year. The sony, microsoft, and nintendo war broke out <3 and sega died lol

When I used to live back in Vancouver my friend actually worked for Nokia. He was on the production team for a few phones including the n95, and ngage. Anyhow apparently the whole team new it was going to be crap and wanted to start over but they got rushed.

During the recession Nokia shut down their entire Vancouver Hardware sect. They now only do software their. Pretty lame :/
