it does not "glorify" murder at all. The time in Germany was an era of post-WW2. There were issues over lack of de-nazification. There was a rising and radical student movement. There were things happening abraod as well : eg Black Panthers (USA), Weather Underground.
If you want to write of murder google the USA atrocity at Ma Lai in Veitnam. Read about how those men, women, and children were brutally slaughtered by US soldiers. There are other examples. put the RAF in context!
