@tidelover05 Because it's less stuff to deal with at once while picking it up on the ground.. I don't have to copy the clearance while trying to fly the plane too. Also didn't realize how much trouble I was going to have getting off the ground lol.
So when can I come fly with you?! I've been wanting to get a pilot license for years. I wish I would have done it when I was your age and had more disposable income.

I had a busy summer so I have about 3 and a half weeks of vacation I have to blow between now and the end of the year. I'll let you know when my vacation time is and if we can fit something in one of those weeks that would be awesome. It would be nice to go for a ride down in that area too. I haven't had much time to ride for fun lately. I've been riding to work just to keep the battery charged.
Besides a camping tirp up to the dragon, and the Smokeys, I haven't been riding much lately either... Looking forward to ya coming down! Seems like it's been forever :O

@JimNtexas Yeah it was.. Cross country flights is great experience- I've learned so much on my solo (or sometimes with passenger) long flights.
Definitely helps the confidence out to successfully plan and execute such a flight as well!

@kryten Not sure, but surely we can figure something out! lemme know what your schedule is like and I'll see if I can figure it out.
Classes are starting Wednesday though, but that shouldn't get in the way too much hopefully...
I do enjoy taking people up to fly, so hopefully you can make it down sometime soon!
