You guys are retards, I learned German and it means "The Giant". In Shi No Numa the radio broadcast says "Der Riese", "The Giant" was the name they used for a large Nazi base in WW2 where the developed the bell, modifications to weapons using radioactive substances etc, search it if you don't believe me.
