I love how the terrain does not provide a trustworthy point of reference. The midcourse brake run looks to be about ten feet off the ground. You'd probably be thinking, "we won't have enough steam to make it back to the station." But then you go through ten more hills, three more tunnels, and a helix at OMFG speeds. Genius!

What is the average speed of this coaster? Also, are the tracks at the furthest point away from the station on higher ground? I could never get my mind around how the coast is still able to go so fast and still go up high when the ride is almost over.

There are 4 roller coasters like this one - voyage, el toro, beast, shivering timbers but this one stands out. It is the most impressive to look at. The best name. The best experience. But for me the best woodie on earth is the thunderbolt at Kennywood. On paper and in pictures it dosent look great but it is the best.

If you stop at 1:56 and if you see at the top the one box looking thing right under the roller coaster, they fixed that because of once when they went up that high hill, IT STOPPED true NO LIES I was in the wave and saw it happened. they were stuck for bout 20 min scary!!!!

@MLforce The wood in the tracks of "El Toro" is laser cut in the factory, then it is almost the same as riding a roller coaster ride of steel, I prefer "The Voyage" which is manufactured by hand, gives the real feeling of riding a wooden roller coaster ;)
