No, Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate come with Virtual PC and Windows XP ready installed, lower OS's don't come with it but are able to run VPC

ha, i find that they're quite good for old OS's, i made win2000 look like a mac, and in XP I changed the welcome screen to say "please choose an interface mode" It has the look of Windows XP, Mac, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and I'm still constructing the Windows 7 look in vista, quite fun messin with old OS's lol

@BOS6940 That's NT 4.0, perhaps the most familiar to people, with a Win95-like GUI. NT 3.1 and 3.51 have the same GUI as 3.1/3.11 (masking the huge difference of NT being a true OS, while the latter rely completely on DOS).

tried it under Virtual PC in Windows 7 it runs very slow and unresponsive sound card or networking not working either

Connectix Virtual PC does not work on Windows Vista,

But it does work on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 9x, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
