OMG...i can understand Japanese and able to read the hirigana&katakana, and little kanji(chinese).

HOpe this release in US translate word into english without change the voice cast. I like her elegant voice >XD

Also, it seems like this is the first tales of game I've seen that has characters in their somewhat true proportions, not even slightly chibified.

Anyways I'm 80hrs in, completed millas side and grinding magna zero.

@Kysen10 You learned on your own or took classes? Any online sites you would recommend for self-taught people like myself?

@xchimino2 self taught, bought a couple of text books and used Heisig for the kanji (around 2k+ took 6months to learn read and write), the readings you learn through vocab.

Google "revtk" (kanji koohi) and pick up a copy of heisigs remember the kanji. Use that site for reps. That book made learning the kanji so much easier and now they are easy to pickup(learn new ones) and for most words you don't know you can guess the meanings from looking at the kanjis.

@xchimino2 Buy Genki 1+2(pricey but worth it) which has thorough explanation of grammar points + lots of vocab and audio cds. Get Anki SRS software (its free) and the JPLT sample deck with 8000 common words (free also) OR the 2k word deck.

-You will need to keep at it, learning a few kanji a day plus either grammar/vocab SRS.

I can't stress this point enough, there is no shortcut to learning enough to even be able to read yet alone speak.

@xchimino2 We are talking months-years of significant self study. I have been doing around 1-2hrs a day every day for the last year and a half. But it is definitely worth it, screw waiting months sometimes years for games to get released. And even when they do get released they have shit dubbing or parts cut.

Just released 2 months ago in JP And we are missing the previous 3 installmants as of now. It will be several years before and IF we get this at all. We re missing Tales of Hearts Tales of world, Tales of Graces, and then this. And Tales of Graces was released over 2 years ago in JP and no NA release on it yet. Tales of Hearts was in 08 and then Tales of world was early 2010. I'd be surprised if we got any of them let alone this one. :<

The last 'Tales' games I've played and really enjoyed were 'Tales of the Abyss' and 'Tales of Vesperia', so I only have those as a basis of comparison...

@glhf2 some companies like to copyright their videos - especially new videos and they'll suspend your account if you post those videos. for example, the 1st and last chapters of Final Fantasy 13 cannot be uploaded on YouTube.
