I Agree- Miz, Tat Money, Cash money, Scratch, Jazzy Jeff, they all came from a different sense of battle DJ- their scratching worked and flowed with the music- Don't see that kind of DJing much today- Take Common's "Go" for instance- The scratching is obviously battle style and does not flow at all with the song.
