I have some college time, but never fished. I was placed in honors classes when in grade school and in high school. My job required some technical school and an apprenticeship . I make over $90k a year. My biggest complaint is the way people with college degrees feel I (we) are not entitled to make that kind of money and the arrogant tones that accompany their comments. If I were a manager at McDonalds I would never hire a college educated applicant. They'll just increase my turn over rate. College isn't just about learning a skill, it's proof that you are dedicated enough and more-so business-wise responsible enough to learn and master a skill. Almost everyone agrees that on the job training is the best way to learn, but when it comes to training new workers why would you want to train someone without a degree over someone with one?
