having recorded backup vocals on a track has its ups AND downs, i reckon:

it makes it fairly easy to notice when not in tune ; D

on the other side, it doesn't exactly encourage improvisation - a bit like sailing through rough cliffs - watch out, or you'll clash!

to all of you......there called backup vocals.....and you may think they are bad.....but reality is that it's called harmonizing......ther are four basic levels of voice. Tenor....Base.....Alto....and Soprano.....soprano is the highest voice. And the vocals in this karaoke are soprano harmonic.

I know i'm a friggin nerd....but choir helps......
