@stratocaster1986able dont want to interrupt milk break at the early learning centre lads, but i dont think it's the hat that gives it away, or the dancing, you know what it might just be the fact the bloke's called fokkin jeremy kwee...jeezerz
@stratocaster1986able yeah also the line "i dont need no melted chocolate on the seats of my ferrari" is taking the piss out of jamiroquai, along with the dance at the end. absolutely brilliant
Damn, I'm trying to learn these jazz chords but they're so hard to figure out! Any jazz pros offering to help out around here?! The bass is something like E, A, D, C#, C, F, C#, B
@RodCow I agree with you. I love all his stuff. He is so talented that everything he does is special. It's never mediocre. I miss the Fast Show terribly =/
I like how this series of "Jazz Club" covers all sorts of contemporary jazz - from Acid Skiffle as we see here, to reinterpretations of bebop classics and the avante garde stuff (which dispenses with the popular song AABA structure and uses a more episodic ABACADAA structure - with the non-A sections being in opposed keys and, as in episode 4, an opposed micro-tonality too.)
oh I think I know who he's taking off. Isn't that Lenny Kravitz? With a bit of Sting thrown in!! Amazing!! Don't know what the head dress is about.. LOL!!:)
I reall enjoy Jamiroquai, and this pastiche is so hilarous, it's quite true ^^
We have to admit that Jay Kay has some weaknesses, with contradictory speechs( Environment VS Fast cars). But this band has brought a really fresh and new sound, they are great musicians, even if you don't like the behaviour of Jay Kay (it's understandable).
It could be. He was a big fan of the show and he was in a sketch with the two tailors suits you, etc. Or am I getting mixed up with someone else? I dunno!
It was Johnny in that "Suits you" sketch, but as far as I know that was his only appearence. He would have had his face clearly visable if he was in this Jazz Club sketch.
Of course it's not Johnny Depp on keyboards; this is from an earlier series, he probably hadn't even seen/heard of the programme at this point. Look at 1:28 - the chap on keyboards is clearly Charlie Higson in a bad wig.
I love it too: Niiice! Especially 'Jeremy Kwee's dancing at the end.
I'm trying to remember one Jazz Club sketch which had interpretive dance in it - anyone know which episode it was from? I remember crying with laughter when I first saw it on tv.
