Gorgeous! Her control is amazing, while still being flirty and bringing character to the dance, and her timing is impeccable. She has the flexibility without overly flaunting it - too many young girls try to do this just to show off how flexible they are and butcher the flair of the variation. Obviously she still has some things to work on, but don't we all? Exceptional, especially for someone so young.

Is it just me, or does she kinda flex her foot on the beginning grand battements? (I hope i spelled that right) but it might just be because she kicks it up there so fast my screen is blurred... Or that she was overbrushing by a little bit causing the foot to look flexed? Anyone else see that? Great job btw! haha

the tiny simpler steps added to this famous variation and the different counts the steps are performed on than they usually are, makes it original and more interesting to watch. The way they slowed down the music at some points to show her beautiful lines and angles made this girl's execution of the dance so much more memorable than the way other dancers executed it! I loved this!

Maybe you will hate me, but does anyone else see the flexed foot when she kicks her leg up? it happens at 37 and at 42 and at 47. I do really like the way she developpes the leg in the hops. I have seen so many dancers just fling their leg out and the way she does this section is so graceful

I think through the years ballerinas have lost a little bit of musicality specially in this variation(Esmeralda) and actually Alys Shee is one of the fews that still have the "ear"

It's similar to Bambi learning how to walk. Female has long limbs, essence of talent and calm presence; however, she needs to control and smooth out her transitions.

That is pretty delightful, & it looks like she'll only grow in artistry, unlike many technical whizzes. To quibble: At the beginning, in those three envelopés à la seconde, it looks like her left foot is not pointed just after it sweeps off the floor. But I think that may be a video illusion, as it's hard to discern for sure, and the foot's definitely pointed as it reaches the apex. In any case, this looks VERY promising.

@balletrox101 Sweety how tall are you. 95 pounds at 13 is not that bad. If you are that concerned about your weight talk to your doctor.  Please sweetheart I have seen far to many young one worry about their weight when there is no need to. If you weigh to little it can be just as bad if not worse than being over. So please check with your Doctor and make sure you are at the correct weight before you start calling yourself fat or anything like that. Health is far more important than look
