hey dude i got a question, i live in glendale so there are tons of armenians, and my question is what the heck does "ara" mean, i hear it all over the place, btw nice landing!

Ara is a way to reffer to guys. has a meaning close to "hey" (as in "hey you listen). Its only appropriate to reffer to close friends otherwise it is disrespectful and offensive.

It's comming from old armenian word that means "man"...

hey buddy... I don't know who is Phil.. if he is a traffic controller than i don't know.. there are two guy controllers and one lady. I know that from their voices. :) I wanna give a visit to the tower one day.

Phil was, like, "the voice", up there at the tower. It was, like, a party everytime you would turn your radios on and he would be there, on any of the frequencies. Next time you talk to them, ask them about Phil ... I am sure someone up there must know about him. One of the nicest persons I've ever met. Please let me know if you do find out if he is still around. Thanks!

burbank is the only airpot in the LA area that has a direct train to downtown LA (20-30 minutes) and a direct bus to Hollywood.
