"Fireflies" Piano Tutorial (Full Song)

Best piano tutorial so far! I'm currently learning with it these days and it's hopefully going well :D

One thing confused me tho:

When you show how to play the left hand at 4:20, you go B-flat, then higher E-flat, and then A-flat. I tried this and my left hand got in the way of my right hand. So, confused, I looked how you do it when you plays both hands, and it seems that you go B--flat, then LOWER E-flat, and then A-flat.

Sooo... What's up with that?

I would love to see your full performance of this piece (if not posted already). Its a great arrangement of this song, encompassing all the different synthesiers into one instrument.

Theres a few tutorials out there for this song, and although its not a strict "off the record" and its a very challenging version its by far the best out there. Good to see such a great pianist thats willing to put time and effort to help others.

Hey em im finding the left hand of the intro tricky, well its not tricky by its self but im trying to put them together and im not sure how the chords fit into it, is it low B high B then the right hand comes in or is it low B right hand comes in then high B. try holding the pedal down, then play the chord in rapid succesion... sort of like a guitar sound. You can also leave out some of the hard to reach notes

I just started practicing because I really like to get this piece 'into my fingers'. But after the intro I realize it's a pretty tough one to learn! ;-) But that's the challenge. So I keep going and some day I will be able to play it (hopefully ;-)

For anyone trying to get the intro down speed wise and stuff, what worked for me was going above the tempo with the fingering. As in if its played at what? 170 work all the way up to 200 and it seems so much easier:) Dunno if this is right or wrong, if its tupid tell me ha i wont mind

The composition of this Tutorial is really nice, I love how you had a paper showing Intro, verse and so on, really helps if you have to jump in the video! I also loved how you pointed out the different parts that you could learn, so you can break it down into parts, keep at it, your work is supreme =)

That's most likely because Fireflies isn't an all piano song. And he is using only the piano. It sounds fine to me. Though we do not share the same ears.
