I respect the engineering of porsche they make very reliable sportscars the whole porsche thing is superv, but sometimes I think that their designers are very lazy about exterior,I prefeer the 911 turbo over any carrera

how come porsches in the US ...Have those ugly fender - bumper things aound the rear plate ???? is it because porsches standard bumpers dont meet us-legilations or are they decorative ...surely if there for us legislation ...porsche could have built the car to meet us specs

Frankly, I think it's really silly to have this whole auto versus stick shift attitude. I have several cars; some are stick, some are auto. And I enjoy them all.

Okay, but this is a sports car, and a Porsche no less. I didn't say I wouldn't enjoy an automatic, I'm stating that I think a proper manual is the better route to go with a car such as this. It's about the feel, the driving experience, and connection between the driver, the automobile, the road. I wouldn't want a Porsche with numb, electronic steering with no feedback or lifeless suspension. Much of that connection is lost with an auto, and I don't want to lose anything when buying a Porsche.

Manumatics are fun, they are manual when you want it and automatic when you dont, i think they are just as good if not better than a manaul transmission

this one is a regular automatic though with a sport shift mode. It's not as good as the dual/single clutch sequential trannies.
