As an American and a hockey fan (the Kings) originally from L.A. who grew up cheering against Ken Dryden and the Habs in the late 70's, I have got to say that this piece is as funny as fuck!!!
Rick Mercer is a genius with this brillant piece which spoofs the Hall Of Fame goaltender and both his previous and current careers.
I just wondered what kind of politician Ken Dryden is now? Is he making as much impact in Parliament as he did while winning Stanley Cups wearing a Canadiens uniform?

@AK47Music Well, he is popular but he is not quit noticeable by his action... The last he did the news was in July, because of some comment against prorogation to answer another mp.
It is not that he do not work, just that he is a bencher for an opposition party. This say, he does a good job and do really well in social policies... Not great with technologies, do.

And also one of Canada's best comedians from the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, with Mr.Mercer being from Middle Island Cove. So if you think oil is NL's biggest export, you're wrong. It's actually humour, and our culture, with oil coming in second!
